Niina : Welcome to For The Love of Reading, Ms. Hunter, I’m glad you could stop by!

Sable Hunter : Thank you, Niina. I love your name, by the way. It is a pleasure to be with you. I’ve been working so hard, stopping to visit with you is a treat. This past week I have edited and wrote on my current WIP and cooked for Easter and practiced music for a cantata and – oh yeah, cleaned my house. So much dust! One would think that smut writing would be much more glamorous.

Niina : LOL! Man you’ve been busy, but let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

S.H : Oh, boy – four unknown facts. Let me see – Number One – I hate to wear hose or socks. Even in cold weather. So, when I can’t get a tan on my legs, I use this Sally Hansen leg makeup. It’s luscious like lotion and leaves my legs tanned and smooth. Neat. Number Two – I have a habit of sleeping on the floor. I don’t know why, I just wake up down there every once in a while. The only problem is, I have lots of ceramic tile – so it’s a cold, hard mattress. The one good thing about it is that it’s easy to make the bed in the morning. Number Three – I drink so much caffeine during the day that I wake up jittery needing a caffeine fix. I blame that on my new Kuerig coffeepot – it’s addictive. Number Four – I don’t mind being alone. I’m not a social person, so I don’t do lunches or shopping trips or have long phone chats with girlfriends. My best friends are online. You people are the only ones who understand me!!

Niina : Tell us little about your series of seriously sexy cowboy novels, what are they about?

S.H : My cowboy erotic romances are all about the men. I love to write from a dual point of view so my readers know exactly what is going on in both the hero and heroines heads. My heroes are alpha males who fall fast for their women and then would move heaven and earth to keep them safe and in their lives - - and their beds! One of my series is about the McCoy family. I have four books out in the Hell Yeah! Series and two more to come out this year, maybe three, if all goes well. This series is a favorite of my readers because I let them revisit with all the couples – and the sex is hot!
The Texas Heat series has more intrigue. TROUBLE and My Aliyah have been popular and I hope to follow them with Spanish Eyes and Double Trouble. Twins Ty and Ky Landon have already stolen some hearts and Drew and Angelina will be next followed by the hunky Cruz brothers – Jagger and Rebel. They will share a woman and I wish I could volunteer for the job. Ha!

Niina : Oh, I can’t wait to read Jagger and Rebel’s story, loved them from the get go! What made you want to write Cowboys? (I’m a fan myself, I love’m)

S.H : Thank you. I write what I know. I’m from Texas. I lived part of my life on a ranch and one of my first crushes was a true cowboy. I love Texas men. Their love affairs with their trucks and guns and hats and dogs and tractors and deer stands – it just tickles me. It takes a helluva woman to compete with all of that, but when she gets the attention of a Texas good ole’boy – she has more excitement than most women could handle. Everything’s bigger in Texas, you know. Cocks and egos – ha!

Niina : LOL! What book have you most enjoyed writing so far and why?

S.H : The book that I enjoyed writing the most is Forget Me Never. It will be the second in the Cajun Spice series and there I retold many of my ghosthunting experiences. Plus it had a hot, hunky military man and a sweet dog. The emotions in the story run high and I will admit, I write and cried and wrote and cried and when I got to the sex I had to take cold showers. Ah – this is tough work. I’ve only completed the first draft – but so far this is my favorite – (but I say that every time)

Niina : What do you think makes a hero sexy?

S.H : What makes a hero sexy to me is how he treats his woman. I love intensity and an insatiable sexual appetite. A hot body never hurts – but how he makes me feel is the important thing.

Niina : Yes, must have that appetite. ;) What are you working on right now? Can you give us a sneak peak?

S.H : Right now, I’m working on I’ll See You In My Dreams. This is the fifth Hell Yeah! And is about Zane Saucier, the blind lawyer who is friends with the McCoys. This companions with The Brown Eyed Handsome Man – Kane’s story is a free read available on Secret Cravings Publishing Site. In the book Zane gets a new secretary – her name is Presley and she is special. Presley is not perfect and she is grateful that Zane can’t see her with his real eyes. But he sees her with the eyes of love – and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. This will be an emotionally charged read and it introduces some new McCoys, too. Noah’s story progresses in this book and some babies are born. I am enjoying being with the McCoys.

Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

S.H : Tight blue jeans that cup his package, lovingly, and shows off his butt. Oh – yeah – and a form –fitting western shirt with snaps that I can just grab and RIP open.

Niina : Can’t find fault in that! What’s the biggest turn on in a guy, fictional or real life?

S.H : The biggest turn-on in a guy is intensity – and I want it directed toward me. I also love a sense of humor and I want him to be interested in me as much as I’m interested in him - - everyday stuff not just sex. But sex - - well, that’s important too!

Niina : Your favorite dangerous fictional bad boy, and why him?

S.H : My favorite dangerous fictional bad boy is a toss up – J. R. Ewing from Dallas or Dean from Supernatural – both turn me on – in different way. Also Angel from Buffy always has my heart. Oh – and Spike!! And I said I preferred werewolves - - what was I thinking?

Niina : Oh, I love SPN’s Dean… yum! What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

S.H : Dildoes - - well, you did ask and you did say we could be racy. And cream cheese, if the first answer scares you too much.

Niina : ROFL!!! Ahem… What does it take to write a really hot love scene? (f.ex. music, silence, rom-com movie…)

S.H : My dirty, dirty imagination - - and if I’m desperate – I watch late night Cinemax for inspiration, no music – music irritates me when I’m trying to write – I prefer silence, my recliner and my laptop with my dog nestled at my side

Niina : What do you think makes a story sexy?

S.H : the intensity of the love scenes and the raw emotion that comes from two people finally getting to express their love and desire for one another - - over and over – harder – faster - - YES!

Niina : It’s all about intensity, agreed. ;) What's a typical day like for you?

S.H : I get up early and have coffee and I write till noon. The afternoons are spent doing chores and running errands. Then I cook dinner and eat and write till midnight - - I know – how boring. That’s why I need the dildo breaks.

Niina : LOL! Healthier that smoke breaks. ;) Before we finish, here are some Quick Fire Questions:

Night or day? Night, definitely. I’m part vampire.

Pick-up or Mini-van? If I had to choose – a pickup. But I prefer Jags and a Lexus.

Boots or Heels? Boots. Heels – never. Sandals when I’m feeling sexy.

Beer or Wine? Wine - -can’t stand beer, but I do love a Hard Lemonade.

Cocktails or Shots? Cocktails – yum. Margaritas are my favorite.

M&Ms: With or Without Peanuts? With Peanuts - - hey, I’m an erotic romance writer – I like nuts.

Treats: Sweet or Salty? Salty followed by sweet then salty – then sweet. I have a problem.

Date: Going to Park or Going to Movies? Park and make-out or stay at home and watch TV on the couch and fool around.

Winter or Summer? Winter. I love it dark, cold and damp - -- vampire, remember?

Jewels or Chocolates? Jewels. I love opaques. All the colors of jade turn me on like a herd of sexy men.

Men: Alpha-male or Submissive? Alpha-male, by God! I’m the submissive.

Men: Clean Shaven or Stubble? Stubble – I love the rasp on my nipples. Where’s the dildo?

Men: Bad boys or Good guys? Bad boys – always, every time. After I’m through with them, they’ll be good – for a little while.

Tattoos or Piercings on a guy? Piercings - - and you know where, too. Don’t you? The drag is mind-blowing.

Brunettes or Blonds? Brunettes – tall, dark and sexy - - or more accurately – hot, hard and hung.

Romance: Vampires or werewolves? Werewolves – Joe Manganello from Trueblood is my heartthrob
I’m writing my first shifter novel - - WOLF CALL – an Elvis song, of course.

Romance: Fallen Angels or Sexy Demons? Fallen Angels - - that song has stuck with me. Two Angels who’ve been rescued from the fall. After they’ve fallen, they’re fair game for all the bad stuff.

Romance: Cops or Cowboys? Are you kidding? Cowboys although I do the mercernary/security/bodyguard type thing too. But there’s just something about those hat and boots – especially when you get to take them off – slowly – and leave them by the bed.

Time-Travel or Sci-fi? Oh, well - - if I had too choose – Sci-Fi. But only in the areas of ghosts and magick – I don’t like futuristic or aliens. Although I do believe in aliens, I just don’t like to watch them on TV

Romance or Erotic Romance? Erotic Romance – I want to go beyond the bedroom door and sit down and take notes. And if I’m invited to join in - - all the better. I have a few lesbian tendencies. Erotic romance has it all for me. I love to write it – but it is a challenge. I have to write an entire regular romance book – and I do – with plot twists and intrigue and funny or sad dialogue – a full length novel plus I have 5-10 super hot sex scenes that are not just stuck in but are actually part of the plot. Erotic romance is taking it a step beyond – and I always like to go a step beyond.

POV or Female POV (Point Of View)? I prefer the male point of view - - just because. Actually because I’m man crazy!

Times New Roman or Courier? Times New Roman because that’s what they make me use!!!!

Niina : Thanks for visiting the For The Love of Reading, Sable! Any news would you like to share with your readers, or websites they can check out?

S.H : My website is http://sablehunter.com/ – and I am on Facebook and I https://twitter.com/#%21/search/huntersable.

My email address is sablehunter@rocketmail.com and I answer each and everyone.

I also have contests all the time and I love to chat with anyone else who likes to read.

I’m working on a giveaway – a cookbook that will have all the recipes referred to in the books as well as character tidbits – this is a fan request, by the way. And I’m making gift packages - - a paper back, a t-shirt and a tote with the book cover on them called – "Cuddle Up With A McCoy" – I like that.

I am writing my heart out and expect to release at least 8 more books this year. Thanks for having me Niina. I always love to chat with you.

Niina : Pleasures all mine! Any comments ladies, feel free to leave Sable and me a message or three! ;)
