SEXY COVERS AND ROMANCE MUSES!

Oh, yeah! It's almost like christmas! I got three books in the mail today! Here beings "In My Mailbox 6th Edition"!

Cursed by a Druid millennia ago, Roan lives a bleak existence in the Shadowlands, desperately trying to retain his soul and not succumb to the goblin horde. When a beautiful human summons him to grant a wish, he sees a glimmer of hope. But will she ever agree to be his queen?

Ewan McCabe, the eldest, is a warrior determined to vanquish his enemy. Now, with the time ripe for battle, his men are ready and Ewan is poised to take back what is his—until a blue-eyed, raven-haired temptress is thrust upon him. Mairin may be the salvation of Ewan’s clan, but for a man who dreams only of revenge, matters of the heart are strange territory to conquer.

See I told you I'd be getting rid of my Maya Banks virginity soon. ;)

Growing up with an unstable, often absent father who preached about the end of the world, Jenna never thought in her wildest nightmares that his predictions would come true. Or that he would have a plan in place to save her-one that includes the strong, stoic man who kidnaps and takes her to a remote cabin in the Pacific Northwest.

And I received Dark Taste of Rapture as a R.A.K two days ago.
Hector Dean is shaved, tattooed, and totally ripped—and he has a deadly secret. He is a walking weapon, capable of killing with a single brush of his fingertips. Little wonder he’s determined to remain on his own. But Noelle Tremain is a temptation like no other. She is beautiful and rich, with a party girl smile that hides a shocking vulnerability, and from the beginning his sizzling attraction to her is undeniable.

I also got a new white shell necklace (top right) and a romance novel muse statue (top left) to help me get through nanowrimo. ;)

<-- Ending this entry with my current country crush Brantley Gilbert's "Kick It In The Sticks"!
( this video is sexy as hell especially after 2:16, I like my men a little rugged and dangerous ;) if you liked this check out this Playlist for more sexy yummyness )

IN MY MAILBOX #4

As I sit here with a Apricot Kernel & Walnut Purifying Facemask on (asking why? Well tomorrow is practically photoshoot day at work, at 9 am, yikes!) I thought I'd share with you what I got in the mail today! Ofcourse I went shopping before hitting home, got two cotton slim-fit shirts in fuchia and button up grey and nice earrings to go, with feathers! And as I come home I have 2 books and one DVD waiting for me! What a good day!

What I got in the mail is...

Dark Protector, first book in the Paladins of Darkness series.

Dr. Laurel Young, who has spent years training to become a Handler, must remain detached from her patients. But each time she revives the darkly compelling Devlin Bane, he claims a little more of her soul and incites in her desires that grow wilder and wilder — even as he inches closer to losing his humanity.

As the war against the Others grows more desperate, Laurel and Devlin can't help but give in to the fierce hunger that's sizzled between them for so long. Now they'll face the ultimate battle together — to save a dark, passionate love that goes against every rule as they join forces to fight an enemy who is closer than they ever imagined...

and...

This Side of The Grave, the fifth book in Night Huntress series.

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they've triumphed over the latest battle, Cat's new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance ...

With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous "ally"—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war . . . to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.

and also...

Flow Yoga For Beginners
The title, Flow Yoga for Beginners, is slightly oxymoronic, as "flow" yoga, at least as practiced by many yogis and yoginis, is by its very nature more aerobic, vigorous, and difficult than the yoga undertaken by most beginning students. But leave it to Shiva Rea, whose growing series of home videos is arguably the best on the market, to reconcile those two disparate factors - for the most part, anyway. Rea defines the flow concept as "the ability to move freely in an unbroken string of awareness"; in more pedestrian terms, it’s a continuous sequence of poses, one moving freely and naturally to the next, which tends to generate heat and deepen control of the breath. The breath, specifically ujjayi pranayama, is the centerpiece of Rea’s introduction to this 70-minute program; her instructions in the use of this basic but hard-to-explain technique are excellent.

Now I just have to wait my yoga mat to arrive! ;)

LOANS, BUYS AND CONFESSIONS!

I went to the library to pick up few books to read, all turned out to be YA this time but I also went by the store and got Christina Aguilera's Royal Desire Eau de Parfum - first it smells of blackberries and mandarin and after the intial burst of fruitness it smells subtly of honeysuckle and marshamallows, which is delicous! Yum! I wish you could smell it! Next time you walk past the parfum isle give it a sniff. ;)

Except review of those to come up soon!

I also have a confession to make. I am scared of zombies, every time I see a zombie movie I have nightmares so I had to... ummm... don't laugh now... return Rot and Ruin after few pages. Zombies freak me out! LOL!

IN MY MAILBOX #2

Yay! More books! There is nothing quite as fun as holding new books in my hands, apart from reading them, of course. ;)
Here are the wonderful three that I received today!

The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston

Mace Llewellyn. Brendon Shaw. Two tall, gorgeous, sexy alpha heroes who are 100 per cent male - with a little something extra. Lion-shifters, to be exact, who can unleash every woman’s animal side and still look good - make that spectacular - in a suit…and even better out of it… NYPD cop Desiree ‘Dez’ MacDermot knows she’s changed a lot since she palled around with her childhood buddy, Mace. But it’s fair to say that Mace has changed even more. It isn’t just those too-sexy gold eyes, or the six-four, built-like-a-Navy Seal body. It’s something in the way he sniffs her neck and purrs, making her entire body tingle…

Meanwhile, for Tennessean Ronnie Lee Reed, New York City is the place where any girl - even one who runs with a Pack - can redefine herself. First order of business: find a mate, settle down, and stop using men for sex. Even big, gorgeous, lion shifter men like Brendon Shaw. But she needn’t worry, because now that Brendon’s set his sights on her, the predator in him is ready to pounce and never let go…

Promising to be hot read. ;)

Vampire Mine by Kerrilyn Sparks

Nothing on earth can make this vampire fall in love…

After 499 years of existence, Connor Buchanan has arrived at an inescapable conclusion: he is a cold-hearted SOB.  He’s been watching his friends - those poor romantic fools - plummet off the cliff into love like a dazed herd of sheep.  But not Connor.  He knows that love leads to nothing by heartache.

Until Marielle…

She is an angel cast down from heaven for disobedience. Trapped in mortal form, she finds a protector in Connor, a Scottish vampire haunted by a dark past.  Marielle hopes to heal his broken heart and earn her way back home, but suddenly she has these… feelings.  This strange yet pleasant physical yearning - for a vampire!  Is this the work of a demon luring her into hell, or has this angel found heavenly bliss?

This one promises to have interestign chemistry for sure!

How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper

Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham - who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska - has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

Ah this is going to be, fun, Ms. Harper supposedly very fun writer!

Yay! Can't wait to read these! :D But for now, back on the stack guys . . . .

NEW PURCHASES - TIME TRAVEL AND VAMPIRES

As went to pick up Jeaniene Frost's Halfway to the Grave from the post office I decided to take a little swerve to the bookstore before heading to a bank appointment.

Even with a book in my hands I graved more.

I was already halfway out of the door when my eyes darted to Diana Gabaldon's Dragonfly in finnish "Matkantekijä/Journeyer", with only 5,95€ I had to buy it after all that is how I got addicted to her series to beging with.

Dragonfly is third book in  the story of the amazing Jamie and Claire, in book one Claire travel back in time in the Craig na Dun stone circle by accident and meets Jamie, a young highlander. In book two she become pregnant, but is forced to return to her own time by the coming annihilation of the clans. In book three she struggles to find out if Jamie is alive after 20 years, with her daughter Brianna. The over 900 page book is amazing story of the two, one that tugs at your heart strings, makes you laugh, and makes you blush at their passion once they reunite. Love Claire and Jamie.

Now Halfway to the Grave, I am excited to start reading! I've heard such great things. And I have a soft spot for kick ass heroines who like things tough and don't back down for anything except for love and what nots.

I'm sure this will be a quick read as well, so might even review it tomorrow.
