REVIEW - THIS ENDRIS NIGHT

"Shiya, a Yupik supermodel, travels to Alaska in pretense of attending a party where she’ll find the man of her dreams. But her real intent is to lure the man of her nightmares to where she can finally end a deadly game of cat and mouse. Gunnar is on Earth for one reason—to recover the wreckage of a Doppelganger crash that is scattered for miles, throughout an Alaskan resort and human settlements."

Shiya, a supermodel has had the unfortunate luck of getting herself a stalker. Tired of running from him, she sets up plan to use Madame Eve's 1NightStand agency to get herself in to Alaskan Ball where she's going to end this.

Meeting Gunnar wasn't part of the plan, falling for him wasn't part of the plan, and him telling her he's a shape shifting alien sure as hell wasn't part of any plan!

Gunnar sees in Shiya the genes passed on by his ancestors, she's half Doppelganger and with her genes activating she's about to experience the change. Unable to resist her he claims her, making sure their genes mix and neither can resist the other.

This novella is part of "Madame Eve's 1NightStand Holiday Anthology" with the following stories: Cerise DeLand ~ Santa, Cutie, Desiree Holt ~ He Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Stacy Kennedy ~ All She Wants For Christmas Is Her Dom, Rebecca Royce ~ I'll be Mated for Christmas, Liia Ann White ~ Her First White Christmas and Clarissa Yip ~ Silent Night’s Seduction. Stay tuned this week for the reviews on the novella you see above in bold italic.

D.L. Jackson is a superb writer, she can create a world that you can just feel yourself sinking into. This novella has a great paranormal setting, not to mention having a sweet science fiction twist. Is it too corny to mention horny aliens. ;)

The characters are all likeable, and the novella keeps great with the theme of the Anthology. I sure want to read more from D.L. Jackson! Loved her writing style!
