Now that Jezebel has them back, she doesn’t intend to lose them again by starving herself of life energies. So, when she encounters a broken heart in the seedy strip club where she works, she knows dinner will be special that night. This time, the feeding will be on her terms, and the man who’s wandered into her snare, shouldn’t miss the small bite of soul she takes. Much.

Book 3 ~ Game on. Another lamb for the feast. Not likely. Jezebel knows that taking a bite out of the virgin bait the demon slayers have tossed into the club is a bad idea. But there’s also more than one way to skin a proverbial cat, or in this instance, pop a slayer’s cherry before she causes any problems. There’s nothing in the succubus rule book that says Jezebel has to play fair. After all, she need only suggest. What the slayer does with the nudge is up to her. Check mate.

Book 1 ~ Carnal Desires was a short romp in the backroom of an adult toy store between a librarian and a incubus who reveals to her that she's not just human but much more than that and intends to show her. Fun, short and sexy. Mercedes was interesting with her first time foray into a toy store for adults, checking out the merchandise with mix of embarrassment and desire. Azael was hot, and though he's role is quite supportive he did have some tummy twisting tricks. In all a very fun and hot little read at only 12 pages - sets up the series well.

           “Have you ever owned one? Used one?”
           Heat blasted across her cheeks. “Excuse me?”
           He leaned in again. “Have you ever done anything forbidden?” Warm breath puffed from his lips, rustling the hair on her nape. “Taboo?”
           Mercedes spun around and whumped him with the giant, red prick. Not on purpose, but perhaps it should have been. Face to face, body to body, she was close enough to discover he had an erection. “I…I… I think I’m in the wrong place.”
           He cocked his head. “Or the right one. What is it you’re looking for?” His gaze swept from the top of her head, down her cardigan sweater to the hem of her long, broomstick skirt. “You don’t look like the normal clientele.” He plucked the tortoise shell frames with false prescription lenses from her nose and dropped them into an oversized handbag she’d parked beside her on the floor. “And you can’t hide your need behind those. I see through you.”
           Mercedes swallowed again. Her hand slipped up to her breast to slow her heart. “Who are you?”
           “An incubus.”

Book 3 ~ Carnal Denial was definitely hot! I like slightly dark seduction stories with a happy ending. Mercedes is now Jezebel, a succubus, she own a strip club and works with Azael, the bouncer/incubus. They do get trouble from slayers, and when one of the pure virgin slayers wants to become employed in the bar Jezebel sets up a seductive setting to knock the girl of her virgin pedestal after all when she's no longer pure she's no longer a slayer. This short story is from the Slayers point of view, and it was very good! I loved the falling from grace ( or in this case a cult of some sort ) and the desire and denial that she went through before finally giving in. A hot read for sure. And this book had a happy ending, instead of a seedy one, which left me as a happy reader afterwards.

           The bouncer stared at her with eyes that made her want to take her clothes off and be that kind of girl. Her body began to buzz under his gaze. A toothpick in his mouth twitched, the only indication he wasn’t a statue. 
           “I want to tend bar,” she stuttered. “I make a mean Screaming Orgasm. I’m really good at it - making drinks that is.” 
           He eyed her double Ds and a smile curled one side of his mouth. “I’ll bet you are.”

D.L Jackson writes great erotic romance and these Carnality novels are no exception! She gives you great characters, great settings and good writing so you can just read and enjoy the stories.

If you like your erotica as short stories with succubus and incubus thrown in for that paranormal twist then you might want to give this series a go!

Niina : Welcome to For The Love of Reading, Sky, I’m so glad you could make it!

Skye Warren : Thanks for having me! I’m so excited to be here talking about my latest release, the dark erotic romance and thriller, Trust in Me.

Niina : Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

Skye : 1) I write dark erotica, but I’m a hopeless romantic. I’ve been with my husband for 10 years and counting. *knocks on wood*
2) In a similar vein, even though I deal with very dark subjects, graphic violence, erotic pain, etc, I love it when someone says they enjoyed the humor in my books! It’s very subtle and used sparingly, but it’s a great feeling when I connect with readers that way.
3) Unrelated to writing ( except for my martial arts romance, Below the Belt ) I have a black belt in martial arts and once, in high school, fended off the unwanted advance of a boy without even thinking ( he grabbed my hand, circle of the wrist, done ). I felt awesome for a long time. Wait, I still do.
4) I was once traveling with my husband and 10 month old in India. Right as our plane arrived in one major city, the other major city’s airports were bombed. There were military guys with very big guns prowling around, and in our haste and tiredness, we left our suitcase in the middle of a lobby. Not-so-fun hijinks ensued. Oh, that wasn’t fun. Well, this is why I write dark ;-)

Niina : Wow glad you got out safe! Now, tell us something about your newest book “Trust In Me” that we wouldn’t know just by reading the blurb?

Skye : My blurb opens with the line “Can love be found between a whore and a knight in tarnished armor?” and then goes on to describe Mia, who longs for the release of death. The only thing keeping her holding on is that she wants to free the shipment of human slaves before she goes.
Mia calls herself a whore because she lives at the mercy ( both financially and otherwise ) of her lover. However, she’s only had a handful of sexual partners in her past and pretty much all of them were out of her control in some form or another. So her sex scenes with Tyler have a lot of similarities to a virginal scene, because Mia doesn’t know what to expect an is overwhelmed by the experiences.

Niina : What chapter did you most enjoyed writing and why?

Skye : The first one. I always enjoy writing the first one best. That’s when the idea is fresh and mysterious. Even the characters are unknowns to me, beyond a certain perfunctory character sketch. There’s an unveiling that happens that’s very exciting for me as a writer. Plus, I have a tendency of setting up impossible situations for my heroes and heroines.
In Trust in Me, the heroine is the lover of a sadistic crime lord. She services him in front of his work associate, and then looks up to see…her childhood crush. Our hero. Tension, tension. I love the challenge of taking these characters from such a dark beginning to a happily-ever-after.

Niina : How did you find your cover and if you didn't take part in the search, what is your opinion of it?

Skye : I made my cover myself. So…is it wrong to say I love it? As soon as I saw the image of that girl, I knew she would be on one of my covers. Her pose is so incredibly submissive and vulnerable, but also strong. To me it screams survivor. It also happens to be really erotic, and I love that it pulls that off without resorting to excess skin.

Niina : I love the cover, great job! What about, what are you working on right now? Can you give us a sneak peak?

Skye : The next book in the Erotic Nonconsent is tentatively titled Listen to Me. It’s about a woman who was trained as a sex slave and, as a result of her experiences, no longer speaks. She ends up in the home of a recluse who happens to be a taciturn kind of guy as well, so they’ll have to find other ways to communicate.

Niina : What three words would describe your hero and heroine the best?

Skye : My hero, Tyler, is described as a “knight with tarnished armor” and an undercover FBI agent in the blurb. His three words would be: Strong, Pining, Guilty. My heroine is a whore with a painful past, who’s been living under a madman’s thumb for years. For her, I pick: Sorrowful, Survivor, Hopeful.

Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

Skye : The white tank/undershirts where their shoulders look all muscular. Let me refer you to Exhibit A, the image I used for Tyler in the trailer. -->

Niina : What’s the biggest turn on in a guy, fictional or real life?

Skye : Being desperately in love. It’s freaking hot.

Niina : What is your favorite guilty treat?

Skye : Ice cream.

Niina : What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

Skye : Lounging in a hot bath when I should be folding laundry.

Niina : What do you think makes a story sexy?

Skye : Emotions, baby. Without it, you’ve got robots, not people. That doesn’t mean that people need to be in love in order to have sex, no way, but they do feel something, whether it’s fear, hope, pride. Even the absence of feelings can be meaningful, if they’ve deliberately cut themselves off for some reason, etc.

Carlos looked down at me from his seat with a half-smile. The guy next to him was speaking in low, urgent tones, but I had his attention.

Riding Rodeo is a story of wanting back what once was neglected. I liked the set up, I liked how bristling Amanda was and how she was still reliving the incredibly passionate night, and deep inside wanting Sean back, but so afraid of getting hurt again. The ‘I want it, but it's so not good for me’ plot worked great and this erotic romance was smoking hot! I'm pretty sure most girls wouldn't mind getting their hands on Rodeo as well! ;)

The background on both Amanda and Sean was sufficient, you could tell this wasn't just about hooking up, Riding Rodeo was about a second chance at making things work and never letting go of what you got! Bret's supporting role (wink wink) was actually perfect he was sweet, handsome and had that little kink side as well to bring on the whole ménage without it being crude or slutty. Well done!

If you are into cowboys who can perform both on the circuit and in the bedroom then you want to check this out. The story is good, the writing believable and the characters wonderfully addictive - you absolutely must read the whole novella to see how this gonna end. See it's not just about the act, but about the story too!

I wish this would have been longer! The plot was funny, with Lindsey's denial and intoxicated behavior, absolutely refusing to believe anything except the stripper scenario. Got giggles out of me! Lizzie Lynn Lee has a nag of writing funny, sexy stories that cover whole range of genres, but all have erotica and romance in common!

Despite the absurdity of the situation the novella was definitely erotica, from well hung alien kings to cold showers! The story was sexy! It could have been longer, and I hoped it would have been with both slightly goofy Lindsey and arrogant warrior king Fairoh being such a great match chemistry wise. I would have loved to have know what happens after the short story ended, but I suppose I just have to imagine it. ;)

A great free read to anyone who loves science fiction romance, erotic romance and humanoid aliens getting bossy. ;)

Pixie Falls’ emergency teams ask citizens to keep clear of the neighborhood and give crews a chance to secure the area.           A spokes-person from the plant advises people to “Stay inside until the dust settles.”
Sirens warned drivers to the side of the road, as Peter wove his way through the traffic, lights blazing.
          “I’m sure she’s okay, man. The report said nobody was killed.”
          Peter cut a glance to his partner, Jack, who tried his best to exude reassurance. “Thanks, I’m sure you’re right. What about Jill?”
          “Naw, she took the day off. Said she’s gonna stand over the plumber until he finishes installing the new hot tub. She refuses to let me lug water from the old well anymore.”
          “A wife’s concern—must be nice.”
          “Things still not good between you and Pumpkin?”
          Peter shook his head. “Same ol’—same ol’. I ask but do not receive.” He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel. “I’m a freakin’ paramedic. You’d think I could breathe some life back into our sex life.”

          Jack let out a long whistle of pity. “Now that’s messed up.”
          “Tell me about it.”
          Dozens of flashing lights issued from what appeared to be every emergency vehicle in the county. Peter slowed the ambulance to a crawl as a cop in a respirator waved them forward. Weaving his way through the crush, he stopped the ambulance, and stared.
          “What the f…?” His question hung in the air as he and Jack leaned forward in an effort to get a clearer view.
          “Is that what I think it is?” Jack asked.
          The scene before them looked like the aftermath of a battle. Bodies spread across the manicured lawn of the Pixie Processing Plant. Only the people weren’t dead—far from it. Bodies writhed and undulated in every sex act known to man.
          “Whoa,” Jack whispered. “I think I’ve died and gone to Heaven.”
          A loud rap on the window snapped Peter from his daze. With great effort, he pulled his gaze from the carnal battlefield and looked at the man on the other side of the window.           Instead, he raised his eyebrows as if contemplating the possibility. “Well now, that is the dilemma. Can Jill really get mad if I succumbed to Frisky Dust in the line of duty and happened to bang a few willing victims while under the influence?”
          Peter shoved the mask into Jack’s chest. “Put it on—that’s an order.”
          They exited the ambulance with respirators securely in place. It took all of Peter’s willpower not to gawk at the mass orgy taking place on the lawn.

          “Finally, a crisis worthy of my skill,” Jack said.

I like the cover, it's not too smutty, like some of the ass shot on Amazon, *rolls eyes* it has a tasteful amount of hotness, naughtiness and something to expect, like knowing it's going to be a saucy read. I've read a good amount of Ms. Mallory's erotica and it's up to bar with my favorites, with realistic dialogue, emotions and none of the tackiness that can be found in the erotica genre when written bad. Mallory writes exceptionally naughty, but tastefully!

The stories in The ABCs so far are all climbs into a beginning or middle of story - there small amount of introduction to the story before the actual love/sex scene, these just pretty much dive in. ;) The stories are short, and very much all about erotica.

A is for Anal is a short novella that introduces Grace one uptight, prim and proper business woman to the pleasures of sex by her new colleague/boyfriend, and not just any sex because Michael wants to show Grace just enjoyable little behind play can be. Short, to the point, sexy and little naughty, but in just the right way. It's a free read so go check it out at Amazon!

B is for Beach is another short story, Erica and Ben have been dating online for a while, when they finally meet after all the nervousness they hit it off and after dinner walk on the beach gets naughty. The story was okay, but I would have liked to have heard more from Ben, who kept pretty quiet.

C is for Cock ring. Now I actually read D is for Domination before this so I knew about Mistress Ven and her brand spanking new submissive ( bun intended ;) ). Though graphic, this one was better than D I think, the submissive questioning if what's going on is too early, but ending up quite pleased. Niina : Welcome to For The Love of Reading, Ms. Mallory, I’m glad you could stop by! Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

Malia Mallory : First, I should be giving birth in about a month. That's a pretty big fact. Second, I really hate doing dishes. Third, I always thought I was a cat person but now I have a dog that I'm quite fond of. Fourth, my favorite flower is the calla lily.

Niina : Tell us little what your collection of novellas “The ABCs of Erotica” is about, why did you decide to write it?

Malia : I've had the idea for The ABCs of Erotica kicking around in my brain for quite a long time. I thought it would be interesting to do a themed story for each letter using an erotic word. Little did I know how hard it would be to come up with things for some letters like Q, X or Z.
I've been releasing some of the stories as singles, some as bundles and some are available both ways. If all goes well, I might take another pass through the alphabet.

Niina : How would you define erotica as a genre?

Malia : I think erotica has a pretty wide range actually. You can get romance with heavy erotic elements. I believe what I've written so far (though I plan to branch out a bit) is pretty squarely erotica. The sexual elements are the main plot. There is relationship between the characters but it isn't as prominent as what you would find in erotic romance. To me, it depends on a reader's tastes and mood to determine what they would enjoy.

Niina : How did you find your cover and if you didn't take part in the search, what is your opinion of it?

Malia : I did take part in trying to work out the covers for The ABCs of Erotica series. My husband actually did the work. I provided him with a selection of pictures and some initial thoughts and he ran with it. I'm pretty happy with it. I think it is suggestive but yet playful. We are utilizing the same basic design in different colors for different letters. Probably each color will be for about three or four stories.

Niina : What are you working on right now? Can you give us a sneak peak?

Malia : I have been working on the sequel to Mia's Cop Craving which is entitled Mia's Cop Craving - Double Teamed. For those of you who read the first installment, Mia let it slip to Rogan that she had a fantasy involving two men. In the second story, Rogan has set this up for her. Niina : What's the best part about being an author? And what’s the worst?

Malia : Well, there are several things that are positive. One, my schedule can be flexible. I also like being able to entertain my readers. On the negative though, having a flexible schedule means you need to be able to discipline yourself to do the work. That is something I struggle with.

Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the biggest turn on in a guy, fictional or real life?

Malia : I've always been a big fan of nice, strong hands and a great smile.

Niina : What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

Malia : None? In the alternate, it's a nice change of pace to see a guy all dressed up, nice suit etc.

Niina : What does it take to write a really hot love scene?

Malia : I usually listen to some music. Also, I kind of try to put my mind in the scene. Sometimes this takes a little time.

Niina : Naughtiest book you’ve read?

Malia : I'm not sure I can share that :)

Niina : Which is sexier, tattoos or piercings on a guy?

Malia : That is a tough one. I'm not super into either though I will admit I have seen both tattoos and piercings that were well done. I think I would fall into the less is more camp with both of these items. I'd rather see something subtle.

Niina : What is your guilty pleasure?

Malia : I wish I could get more pedicures and massages!

Niina : What is your signature dish?

Malia : At Christmas time, I make fruitcake from a secret family recipe. I know it has a bad reputation, but seriously this is good.

As much as this is erotica, it still has romance in it, which gives me the freedom to call this an erotic romance. ;) I do have to have happy endings in my reads and I was so happy to see Johnny get some sense bound into him ( ummm... bun intended. ;) ). Johnny is a hot young guy who's plans on shagging every member of his band seems to be going smoothly until it strikes him there might be more to sex than just the act and maybe it would be something else completely if he had feelings for the girl. But the girl he has his eyes on bats for the other team.

What else can I say... if you are looking for a seriously sexy read, then this is the absolute best you can get, with the price of only $0.99! You don't wanna leave Johnny when the story ends, you wanna know more and I'd absolutely love it if C.J. Ellison came out with a novel on what happened to Johnny and his girl after the novella. Gosh, I'd buy that! Johnny Living Dangerously was the kind of erotic romance crack that you'd have to go to rehab to quit!

You'll love this if... you like your erotica with a romance with a happy ending, and if you like your romance with abundance of hot sex, blindfolds, handcuffs and dominating attitude! Then this if for you, it's a steal for only $0.99!

I think I've made up my mind, my favorite erotica writer has to be C.J. Ellisson!
