The erotica writers in this book are the top of their league, the writing is top notch, the stories are interesting, they build up to the action and more often than not have romantic tones with either married couples, dating couples, or meeting of two or more consenting adults. This is definitely for women, we like our naughty stories to have romance, or else to us it's not quite as believable. A women would not jump just anyone's bones, there has to be attraction, a chance for more - and Everything Erotic is a perfect match for that.

Read Pool Side and tell me if you agree! ;)

Volume IV
Pumpkin’s Great Escape
By Boone Brux

The radio announcer’s voice filled the confines of the rescue vehicle. “Breaking news—The Pixie Dust Processing Plant exploded earlier today, sending a cloud of Frisky Fairy Dust a thousand feet in the air. No fatalities have been reported, but the atmosphere at the explosion site is said to be agitated. Pixie Falls’ emergency teams ask citizens to keep clear of the neighborhood and give crews a chance to secure the area.           A spokes-person from the plant advises people to “Stay inside until the dust settles.”
Sirens warned drivers to the side of the road, as Peter wove his way through the traffic, lights blazing.
“I’m sure she’s okay, man. The report said nobody was killed.”
Peter cut a glance to his partner, Jack, who tried his best to exude reassurance. “Thanks, I’m sure you’re right. What about Jill?”
“Naw, she took the day off. Said she’s gonna stand over the plumber until he finishes installing the new hot tub. She refuses to let me lug water from the old well anymore.”
          “A wife’s concern—must be nice.”
“Things still not good between you and Pumpkin?”
Peter shook his head. “Same ol’—same ol’. I ask but do not receive.” He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel. “I’m a freakin’ paramedic. You’d think I could breathe some life back into our sex life.”
“You know the old saying, ‘You can’t lead a dead horse to water’.”
Peter arched an eyebrow. “I think it’s ‘lead a horse to water’.”
“Whatever, if the horse is dead you can’t lead it or make it drink, and you definitely shouldn’t bone it.” Jack paused. “Is your horse dead, Peter, cause I have pills for that?”
“My horse is just fine, a damn stallion as-a-matter-of-fact. It’s Pumpkin’s horse that’s destined for the glue factory. She’s always like—‘Not tonight, Peter, I’m too tired.’ Or—‘Geez Peter, don’t you think of anything else?’”
“How long has it been since you got any?”
“I vaguely remember a mercy fuck a few months ago.”
Jack let out a long whistle of pity. “Now that’s messed up.”
          “Tell me about it.”
Dozens of flashing lights issued from what appeared to be every emergency vehicle in the county. Peter slowed the ambulance to a crawl as a cop in a respirator waved them forward. Weaving his way through the crush, he stopped the ambulance, and stared.
“What the f…?” His question hung in the air as he and Jack leaned forward in an effort to get a clearer view.
“Is that what I think it is?” Jack asked.
The scene before them looked like the aftermath of a battle. Bodies spread across the manicured lawn of the Pixie Processing Plant. Only the people weren’t dead—far from it. Bodies writhed and undulated in every sex act known to man.
“Whoa,” Jack whispered. “I think I’ve died and gone to Heaven.”
A loud rap on the window snapped Peter from his daze. With great effort, he pulled his gaze from the carnal battlefield and looked at the man on the other side of the window. Peter squinted, trying to identify the officer behind the mask. The man pointed to his respirator and back at Peter and Jack.
“I think he wants us to put our masks on.” Peter reached over the seat, retrieved two masks, and held one out to Jack.
Jack stared at the offered respirator. “Do you really think that’s necessary?”
“Take it unless you want to be trippin’ on Frisky Dust.” Peter shook the mask at his partner, but Jack didn’t take it.
Instead, he raised his eyebrows as if contemplating the possibility. “Well now, that is the dilemma. Can Jill really get mad if I succumbed to Frisky Dust in the line of duty and happened to bang a few willing victims while under the influence?”
Peter shoved the mask into Jack’s chest. “Put it on—that’s an order.”
They exited the ambulance with respirators securely in place. It took all of Peter’s willpower not to gawk at the mass orgy taking place on the lawn.
“Nice of you boys to join us.” Officer Sprat crossed his arms over his chest and stood wide-legged. Amusement danced in his eyes. “There aren’t any injuries so grab your oxygen and start clearing some heads.”
“Uh, how are we supposed to do that?” Peter asked.
Officer Sprat slapped him on the back. “That’s up to you Peter. You’re the paramedic, not me. But I sure look forward to watching you work.” He turned and walked away, his laughter billowing behind him.
“Finally, a crisis worthy of my skill,” Jack said.
With oxygen tanks at the ready, they moved into the mass of gyrating bodies. Tits and asses bobbed—bounced—and shimmied.
“One man should not have to resist this much temptation,” Jack mumbled.
Peter silently agreed. It had been so long since he’d had anything resembling sex and now—here he was—wading through a lake of lust. His cock tightened. He tried to ignore the swelling but when the moans of pleasure and grunting enveloped him, he almost shamed himself.
“Where do we start?” Jack said.
“Right here,” purred a voice below them.
Peter looked down and watched Little Bo Peep crawl toward them. Her exposed, pink nipples giving the name of Peep a whole new meaning.
“Hey Bo, lookin’ good,” Jack leered.
She rose up on her knees and cupped her breasts. “I’m feeling even better. Wanna find out?”
“Well—since you’re offering.” Jack’s hand inched forward, but Peter pushed it away.
“Are you crazy? Don’t you know who she’s dating?” Jack shrugged and shook his head. “Wolfgang Von Pelt.”
          “That crazy, shape-shifting florist?”
“The same and if he catches your scent on Bo’s peep, you’re a dead man.”
“Damn.” Jack jumped back and out of Bo’s reach. “Well, if you’ve got this under control—I’m gonna go help…” He scanned the crowd. “Red. She looks like she could use of a breath of fresh air.” Not waiting for an answer, Jack bolted, leaving Peter to deal with the randy shepherdess.

“Peter,” she cooed. “I seemed to have lost my staff.” Bo walked her fingers up his calf to the inside of his thigh.
The closer her digits traveled to his package, the more it swelled. “Uh, sorry to hear that, Bo.”
A dainty pout formed on her lips. “Can I use yours?” Her hand swept up and rubbed his erection. “Oh, it’s so much bigger than mine.”
Words stuck in Peter’s throat as she fondled and stroked Little Peter to life. Damn, it had been too long. Big Peter had meant to refuse Bo the use of his staff. He’d meant to apply the oxygen mask to her. Yet, as her nibble fingers caressed and teased him, all rational thought bled from his mind.
With aching slowness, Bo reached up and popped the button of his pants. The zipper crept down a little on its own as his cock pushed against its confines. Bo pinched the little brass tab and tugged, unzipping him and setting his cock free. Holding his breath, he watched as Bo’s blond head move toward his erection, and when she wrapped her hand and lips around him his knees nearly buckled. To hell with Von Pelt. He wasn’t so tough.

"In exchange for her father’s life, Amarantha agrees to marry the dreadful Beast and be his wife for seven days. Though the Beast cannot take Amarantha’s virginity unless she begs him to, he can and does take her in every other way. From the moment they are alone together, the Beast relentlessly strips Amarantha of all her resistance.

If Amarantha can resist her cloaked and terrifying husband, she gains his entire fortune and will be allowed to return to her family and a normal life. But the Beast seduces her at every turn, exposing, binding, tormenting, and pleasuring Amarantha until she no longer knows her own deepest desires.

Increasingly desperate to break the curse that chains his humanity, the Beast drives Amarantha past every boundary. But her desire for a normal life may jeopardize the love that will save them both."

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play, BDSM theme and elements, dubious consent.

This sure is one sexy, dark, dominating twist on Beauty and The Beast, trust me this is in no way a Disney version! Paris spins a tale of an innocent women who is married to a man hidden by a cloak who turns out to be quite a serious Dom and he enjoys watching his innocent bride discover what he likes (which comes with a lot of kink), and what she likes.

I have to say at time the Beast's actions become a bit much and you could really see why Amarantha was uncomfortable and straight out scared sometimes. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be in her shoes. But there was another side to him under all the rough play and intense sexual apetite - he'd made mistakes and his Beastly appearence was the punishment for it, and towards the end of their days together you begin to see his desperation for her to accept him. Amarantha was quite timid and scared through most of the book, and she finally got some balls at the end, and good for her, I can't stand it when I character stall in one place throughout the book.

All good stories they provoke a reaction wither frustration, discomfort or arousal or emotions such as fear or love - this story wasn't different, you felt all the above and more. For a story with such a strong BDSM theme there were some surprisingly gentle moments that made the book better, in fact I would have really wanted more gentleness, this was bit too deeply BDSM for me to really enjoy.

That said, I couldn't stop reading the book, there was something there between the couple that you just had to find out, which kept you reading. Paris is a good writer, you can tell that immediately, and I'd like to read more from her, she has a nack for the dark tales! I enjoyed her other novella Feeding The Vampire that she wrote as Jeffe Kennedy.

REVIEW - THE DEMON LOVER

"A mist enters her bedroom, then takes the shape of a virile, seductive stranger who proceeds to ravish her in the most toe-curling, wholly satisfying ways possible. Perhaps these dreams are the result of writing her bestselling book, The Sex Lives of Demon Lovers. "

Superb gothic dark romantic novel!
Dr. Callie McFay, is visited at night by a dream where a man enters her room in moonlight and continues to make love to her one erotic dream at a time. She should know what this means as she wrote her thesis on The Demon Lover in Gothic Literature: Vampires, Beasts and Incubi and is the author of the bestselling book Sex Lives of Demon Lovers, and has just been accepted to teach at Fairwick Collage teaching  Gothic Literature. She knows what she dreams of is a Demon Lover, the same one who use to tell her fairytales at night when she was a child, but - are they real? And if they are, what else is… vampires? Witches? Faeries? Nymphs? She might just have to check all above on that one.

I originally fell in love with the cover, but the story inside is so much better, it has the old as age feel to it, with dark woods, Victorian house, iron locks, libraries, snowed in darkness and the old books of a gothic writer who knew more than she let on.

This is perfect for the winter to read in candle light and feel thrilled, spooked and all around creep out while Callie teaches and investigates what happens in the little town and how it’s tide to her and her demon lover who is seduces her, makes passionate love to her and slowly drains her life away on big O at a time. She’s determined to get rid of him, but it seems some things are there to stick and no feeble attempt will do. And just how strong is her resolve to be rid of him?
"I gasped . . . or tried to. My mouth opened, but I couldn't draw breath. . . . His lips, pearly wet, parted and he blew into my mouth. My lungs expanded beneath his weight. When I exhaled he sucked in my breath and his weight turned from cold marble into warm living flesh. Moving flesh. I felt his chest rise and lower against mine, felt his hips grind into mine, his strong legs part mine…"
Dark and beautiful tale of love, passion, magic and danger – all mixed together with the Honeysuckle House and it’s surrounding of magical dark woods where even shadows are dangerous.

The supporting characters are amazing, and they truly add to the story a dark twist and few moments of lightness!

Trust me after you read this you want to move into the old Victorian Honeysuckle House! I’m completely addicted and cannot wait till the two following books come out, because this just can’t end like this! There is so much more that is needed. I haven’t had a frustrated howl at the end of a book in ages, but this sure ends like a good book is supposed to with a lot of 'oomph'!

Since accepting a teaching position at remote Fairwick College in upstate New York, Callie McFay has experienced the same disturbingly erotic dream every night: A mist enters her bedroom, then takes the shape of a virile, seductive stranger who proceeds to ravish her in the most toe-curling, wholly satisfying ways possible. Perhaps these dreams are the result of writing her bestselling book, "The Sex Lives of Demon Lovers." After all, Callie's lifelong passion is the intersection of lurid fairy tales and Gothic literature--which is why she finds herself at Fairwick's renowned folklore department, living in a once-stately Victorian house that, at first sight, seemed to call her name.

But Callie soon realizes that her dreams are alarmingly real. She has a demon lover--an incubus--and he will seduce her, pleasure her, and eventually suck the very life from her. Then Callie makes another startling discovery: He's not the only mythical creature in Fairwick. As the tenured witches of the college and the resident fairies in the surrounding woods prepare to cast out the incubus, Callie must accomplish something infinitely more difficult--banishing this demon lover from her heart.

REVIEW - LORD OF RAGE

Author: Jill Monroe
Pages: 288 pages
Publisher: Harlequin Nocturne
Published: October, 2011
Form: E-book (review copy through NetGalley)
Series: Royal House of Shadows #2
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Amazon: Buy / $5.50
Book Depository: Buy / €3.69

"Vanquished, the king and queen of Elden saved their children by scattering them to safety and filling them with vengeance. Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out…"

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough with Lord of The Vampires review how great this series is! Four top Paranormal Romance writers collaborate to create a four book continuum of fairytale inspired modern fantasy stories! Gene Showalter wrote an Alice in Wonderland type story with LotV and now Jill Monroe re-creates a sexy, dark and temperamental version of Goldilocks and Three Bears! Yeah... you heard right. ;)

Nicolai's younger sister Breena the Princess of Elden has been able to use her magic with some limitations, she can enter dreams, well only one man's dream, she doesn't know him or can't clearly see him, but his kisses make her feel something less like a princess. In the middle of her last dream of him as she is to choose a husband that week she's rudely awakened by a guard taking her to safety as the castle is attacked. The King and The Queen send her away magically with only two dominating thoughts Survive, Avenge.

Breena wakes up disorientated in a barren land that once belonged to The Ursans, fierce warriors infused with the Bear spirit, all of them extinct now, except she finds a cabin, empty, and exhausted falls asleep in the bedroom. As Osborn and his two younger brothers return they do not take well having Breena there.

Osborn having some clear temperamental issue battles his attraction to Breena who he recognizes from his dreams, thinking she only wants him to take her back to her home to be her mercenary. Having Osborn's  clan destroyed before his eyes by the Vampires of Elden has made him bitter and volatile, having to lower himself to a mercenary to support his two brother has given him issues and guilt, and he can't understand the feelings Breena makes him feel and how she turns his world upside down, and he lets her. Having used to of always being right and in charge, and now having one small woman take it all and make a real mess of it irritates him to now end.

I love this new version of Goldilocks and Three Bears! Lot sexier than the original... ;)  Now seriously... I loved Breena the slightly spoiled but very headstrong and quick wit princess who doesn't know what the answer 'No' means and does her darnest to persuade the three rough brothers to accept her, warm up to her and help her. Osborn was fun to read, stubborn and temperamental and with serious issues he's the type that doesn't want to feel but is forced to, still staying true to his berserker nature.

I love Jill Monroe's writing she can engage a reader in a way and in a story so good you don't want to stop reading until you're done. It took me only a day to finish this, it was easy to read and so much fun with enough hot yummy scenes to be worth the wait when they both finally give in.

A witty, temper raging sexy fairytale of a goldilocks and her bear spirit warrior - this series has gotten me so addicted now I just have to wait a little longer to get my hands on Lord of Wolfyn, book 3 in the series!
