"Sarah Westfall is on a mission. Living the mundane life of a near spinster school teacher and sick of her parents throwing eligible men at her, she is determined to get over her crush on her best friend’s brother. She wants a prince and wouldn’t settle for less. What better way than a 1Night Stand?

Evan Hunt needs to figure out his enemy’s game plan. Chasing his nemesis to Las Vegas and signing up for Madame Eve’s service and masquerade, he never expected the woman he’s desired for years to appear before him…as his princess.

When their attraction fires the night, the inevitable happens. Her prince isn’t as charming as she’s hoped, but he does save her from trouble. Would he be willing to fulfill her fantasies also?" ~Goodreads

A fun short story of a woman who is tired of pining after her friend's brother only to end up on a blind date with him. The plot is simple and fun creating tension between the Sarah and Evan, and when Evan saves her from an ill-fitting suitor sparks fly and Evan opens his eyes to seeing Sarah as more than his sister's friend and the towns good girl.

Hot read like the 1NightStand novellas are, this is definitely erotic romance but it still has that sweet flavor to it, so it doesn't put off a more delicate readers. ;) What I could have lived without was the multiple 'princes' and 'princesses' being thrown in the dialogue and narrative, it was bit too much for a short book.

Evan and Sarah were both likable Sarah for trying to free her friend from over bearing brother and freeing herself from the good girl image, and Evan for being headstrong, passionate and giving in to seeing Sarah as a possible partner against his own reasoning. Can't fight love. ;)

You'll like this if... you like from almost family to lovers type of stories where the guy realizes oh were not really 'family' and you're hot. ;) Also for masquerade lovers and those who dream of princes!

New Year’s with Prince Charming
by Clarissa Yip

Well, there goes half of January. Can you believe that the month is half over?

2011 came and went, and I’m sure on New Year’s day, you’ve wondered if it was even worth making New Year’s resolutions or new goals that you hope to accomplish by the end of 2012. Most people around this time are probably thinking the same as you: write more, lose weight, accomplish more, work harder, finish something—anything.

Well, this year, I would like to find Prince Charming.

Yeah, I know it’s not easy to find Prince Charming, but here I sit and wonder, why do my heroines all get all the fun?

I’m single, I’m sassy, and I swear I’m not bad looking or so I’ve been told. No, I’m not joining an Internet dating company or signing up for some matchmaking service. I’ve realized that I’m not getting any younger and my ambitions have always been career-focused, but I think it’s time I did something for myself, which had led me to write Tempting a Prince.

Sarah went to Vegas to look for her Prince Charming in hope of getting over her childhood crush on her best friend’s brother, Evan. She’s done waiting. I’m done waiting. I want things to happen!

Instead, Sarah ends up with Evan as her date! You would think fate is playing a game, and Evan doesn’t turn out so Prince Charming-ish. I’m not saying I’m looking for Mr. Perfect either, but things definitely do work out for Sarah, who’s a modern day princess in her own rights.

And I think I’m a princess too! So, not saying that I’m going to put myself out there and snag the first man I see, but I think it would be a big step to at least get myself out of my own house, my writing cave and make new friends. Maybe I will be cliché and join a gym or maybe take some art classes or something.

What do you think? How would you go about looking for Prince Charming?

Thank you so much for having me here!

Thanks for coming by Clarissa, loved your Guest Blog! I found my Prince Charming 8 years ago online, we ended up talking about our favorite book in a forum dedicated to it... so our love was book related, very appropriate. ;) Also a long distance relationship made the courtship truly passionate, loved it, even though it was always bittersweet when he had to leave or I had to. But we are married now, 6.5 years, and I could not be happier to have him with me daily. ;)
